New York-based ad agency Johannes Leonardo has announced the appointment of Patrick Glorieux as copywriter and Cecilia Azcarate Isturiz as art director.

Glorieux and Isturiz have been tasked with presenting, developing concepts and producing campaigns for a variety of the agency's clients, including Sprite, Google, Coca-Cola and The Park Avenue Armory.

The two previously worked at Happiness Brussels, where Glorieux was a concept provider and copywriter, and Isturiz was the head of art, working on the Toyota's "iQ Street View".

The creative team will report to Johannes Leonardo's co-founders and executive creative directors Jan Jacobs and Leo Premutico.

"From our first conversation with Patrick and Cecilia, we knew they would bring a unique energy and perspective to the team here at JL. We're thrilled to have them on the team," said Jacobs.

Isturiz said that "Johannes Leonardo has made so many of the campaigns that we've really loved over the last years," while Glorieuxechoed her sentiments saying that “the thinking, the ideas and the execution just blew us away, and we knew that this was the place we wanted to be."
