Whyte & Mackay's global head of PR Rob Bruce to join SeaFish as new communications chief

Whyte and Mackay’s global head of PR Rob Bruce is set to leave the United Spirits owned company to join SeaFish, the seafood authority.

Bruce, who took up his current post in 2008 having previously headed up communications for Inbev, is expected to begin his new role as corporate relations director at SeaFish on 1 July.

He will be tasked with heading up the work-streams on reputation and promoting consumption, including overseeing the communications and marketing activities undertaken by the organisation on behald of the UK seafood industry.

At the time of writing SeaFish had not commented on the appointment of Bruce, while it was understood that Whyte and Mackay had begun the process of finding a successor.

Whyte and Mackay produces whisky brands Dalmore and Jura alongside Vladivar Vodka and Glayva.
