American Association of Advertising Agencies announces 2013-14 board of directors

4A’s, the American Association of Advertising Agencies, has announced the new board of directors for the 2013-14 period.

On the directors-at-large board for 2014 are David Eastman, worldwide digital director and CEO, JWT North Americal; John Montgomery, COO, GroupM Interaction; Troy Ruhanen, chairman and CEO, The Americas, BBDO; and Linda Sawyer, CEO, N.A., Deutsch.

Directors-at-large on the 4A's Board with terms expiring in 2015 are: Andrew Benett, global president, Havas Worldwide; Lisa Donohue, CEO, Starcom Worldwide/Chicago; Matt Anthony, CEO, Young & Rubicam North America and Tim Spengler, Worldwide CEO, Magna Global.

Directors-at-large on the board with terms expiring in 2016 are Susan Credle, chief creative officer, Leo Burnett USA; Scott Hagedorn, CEO, Annalect; Bryan Weiner, CEO, 360i; and Brad Brinegar, chairman & CEO, McKinney

At the Chicago board meeting the regional director were also decided while Horizon Media's Founder, President and CEO, Bill Koenigsberg was elected as vice-chairman.

"The industry representation we have on our new board provides us with unparalled thought leadership to guide and shape our association so that it remains relevant and stays ahead of the curve on industry issues,” commented Nancy Hill, president and CEO, 4A's.
