Muesli start-up Yoosli has engaged Together Design to create its brand identity and e-commerce site – Yoosli.com.
The new online service, which launches this month, enables customers to create bespoke muesli mixes from an array of more than 65 ingredients. Working with founder Markus Niemeier Together Design has created the Yoosli name, branding, tone of voice, messaging, packaging, e-commerce site, animated movie and communications.
Central to the design is the theme of personalisation, with emphasis placed on the creative mixing experience. The strapline ‘Individual muesli for individual folk’ is complimented by a cast of eccentric characters – Louis, Cassie, Flora, Neville and Bob – who appear in an animated short about Yoosliville in a bid to represent different personalities and muesli flavours.
“It's been a great experience working with the team at Together Design. They’ve thought about the brand from every angle and helped to create something that’s both humorous and practical too,” said Niemeier.
The e-commerce site allows customers to create their bespoke blend from various categories of ingredients including cereals, fruit, nuts, seeds, and sweet treats. A ‘Mix Finder’ quiz calculates the perfect match for customers depending on whether or not they agree with statements like ‘Everyone should try everything once, even wasabi and cheese’, ‘I’m looking forward to a time when we eat space pills for breakfast’, or ‘Everything was so much better back in the good old days (sigh!)’.
