Stowford Press’ ‘Bowl For £50k’ promotion ended yesterday, as Chris Newall won the £50,000 prize in the Together Agency devised campaign.

The promotion offered the chance for four drinkers of the cider brand to go to the Trent Bridge cricket ground in Nottingham and – during the interval of the England versus New Zealand One Day International match – bowl at the stumps for the chance to win the cash prize.

The campaign, announced last August, saw the four bowl at three stumps, then two and then just a single stump in order to win the prize.
