Cannes Lions announces live streamed seminars with Mindshare and YouTube
The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has announced that it will live stream one seminar session per day on the Cannes Lions YouTube Channel, as part of a deal between the festival, global media agency network Mindshare and YouTube.
The public will be able to vote on what session they want streamed, and each streamed session will then be accessible on-demand for a period of two weeks following the festival.
Philip Thomas, CEO for the Lions festivals, said: "Every year Cannes Lions brings global speakers to its stage and showcases outstanding content that is thought provoking, inspirational and forward-thinking. We’re excited to be taking this live, offering a taste of the Cannes experience to those that are unable to make it to the South of France."
