Razorfish win C&A digital account rumoured to be worth up to £10m

C&A has appointed Razorfish as its new digital agency of record across Europe in a deal which could be worth as much as £10m, although the exact figure remains unconfirmed.

The Drum understands Razorfish beat AKQA, LBi and TribalDDB to win the account and will now begin work with C&A immediately.

“Razorfish fully understood our vision of a customer-oriented, digital C&A universe withclear structure and user-friendly, seamless navigation. Razorfish have the experience, the creativity and the technical know-how to leverage our strong brand for digital customer engagement,” said Bart Brenninkmeijer, chief brand officer and member of the European executive board C&A Europe.

Thorsten Rolfes, head of corporate communications at C&A Europe, added: “Our new innovative online presence will take our customers on an exciting and surprising journey.”

C&A currently operates in 20 countries with more than 1,500 stores and has active e-commerce operations in its top eight markets. In order to accommodate the account Razorfish now has more than 25 new job openings in its London-based office.
