VisitScotland unveils contract for media planning and buying services for the long haul markets

VisitScotland has unveiled a tender for a single operator to provide media planning and buying services for the long haul markets, outside Scotland.

The framework contract will cover regions such as North America, Australasia and emerging markets, with the estimated value of the 24 month contract being £1.3m to £3m.

VisitScotland said it is ‘inviting proposals from suitably qualified suppliers for the planning and the delivery of a media strategy for VisitScotland's programme of activity in the long haul markets’.

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is midday on 5 June.

The contract authority has said it is purchasing on behalf of other authorities, including Transport Scotland, Historic Scotland and HM Inspectorate of Education.
