TBWA\Chiar\Day NY hires Publicis executive creative director Perry Essig

Perry Essig, former executive vice president and executive creative director at Publicis, has become lead creative on TBWA\Chiar\Day NY’s global Accenture account.

Essig, who has spent the last five years at Publicis working on cross-platform campaigns for Citibank, will work in partnership with the agency’s global creative director Tony Bennet, as well as its head of account management and global account lead for Accenture Leigh Baker.

Said Mark Figliulo, chief creative officer and chairman of TBWA\Chiat\Day NY: “Perry is a modern day creative director - a conceptual thinker, a true craftsman, digitally centric and business curious with an incredibly high standard of creativity.”

The appointment follows James Cheung’s promotion to global creative director within TBWA.
