Bedroom specialist Sharps is expanding its market with the launch of a range of living room furniture, Sharps Living.

The launch will be accompanied by press advertising, direct marketing, door drops, POS, in-store materials and new exterior signage, created by Manchester agency The Market Creative. The range will offer media and storage cabinets, sideboards, coffee table and sofas.

Launch: Sharps will offer a living room furniture range

Marketing director at Sharps Bedrooms, Tim Moore, said: "We are eager to reinforce our position in the home furniture market by widening our appeal and entering new categories. We've just successfully relaunched our home office division, which is already proving successful and it's a natural step for us to enter the living room."

Sue Benson, managing director at The Market Creative, added: "Sharps living will follow the same look and feel as the bedroom and office furniture. However, this is the first time that the messaging will move away from the 'made-to-measure' market."

The range will go national if trials in the Baker Street and Bromley showrooms prove successful.
