Danone is widely rumoured to be pitching its global media planning and buying business with plans of consolidating its arrangements.

It has been suggested that the company could be looking to consolidate its media arrangements into either a single network or a network for each of Europe, North America and Asia.

A Danone spokesperson said: “We confirm we are launching a media agency pitch for Europe, Asia and North America. We do not want to add any comment at this stage. A decision might be taken before the end of 2013.”
