Apology for Zooey Deschanel, NOT the Boston bomber
A closed captioning company that erroneously named kooky New Girl actress and singer Zooey Deschanel as the suspect in the Boston bombing tragedy has issued an apology for the error.
Deschanel’s name appeared in closed captioning during the Fox network’s coverage of the manhunt.
Caption Solutions said they deeply regretted naming the actress. Company President Kala J. Patterson says they "sincerely apologize for this error."
Deschanel herself did not make any public comment, but retweeted the image to her 4,265 040 twitter followers.
