Facebook has today announced that it is set to rollout an update to the layout of its mobile Pages, making the pages more tailored to the way people find information about businesses on their mobile devices.

The interface is streamlined and action-oriented, with relevant business details and ways to interact – including like, message and share - at the top of the Page.

Facebook explained: “Starting today, these updates are accessible on people’s mobile phones via their mobile browser and the Facebook app. As a Page owner, there’s no need to do anything to prepare your Page in advance of these updates, but it’s important to make sure the information currently listed on your Page is complete and up-to-date.”

Pages is the first product Facebook has redesigned for mobile first, before desktop. It will update for iOS and mobile web today, although Android is set to follow.
