Kate Buxton joins Creative England as head of communications and strategy
Former BBC communications manager, south, Kate Buxton has been named as the new head of communication and strategy at Creative England.
Based in the Bristol office Buxton will now lead on strategy, marketing and communications for the national agency which invests in and supports creative ideas, talent and businesses in film, TV, games and digital media.
Prior to joining Creative England Buxton has worked with the media, government, Whitehall and opinion formers for public sector organisations including the British Council and Arts Council England.
Most recently she was managing communications for the BBC across the Midlands, East and South of England.
