Hammerson ‘restructuring’ of agency roster leads to redundancies at RBH
Retail property management firm Hammerson has restructured its agency roster, which has impacted on the amount of work longstanding creative agency RBH will work on, and leading to necessary redundancies within the firm.

The Drum has learned that Hammerson has chosen to reduce its work with agencies in the Midlands, although RBH has said that it will continue to work with the company in the regions and the London HQ.
Debra Hepburn, managing director of RBH, said: “We are of course very sorry that we have to make redundancies. But it is important that we are able to adapt our agency for the future. We have a very strong working relationship with our client and are delighted to be continuing to work with them within their new business structure.”
Stephen Brown, UK marketing director at Hammerson, added: “We have had many successful shopping centre launches working with RBH, we have a very positive and creative working relationship with them and will continue to do so in the future. “
RBH has worked with Hammerson for the past 11 years, and is understood to be examining its team resource for future work.
