The Wall editor Gordon MacMillan to join Twitter UK as editorial manager
Gordon MacMillan, editor of Haymarket's social media blog The Wall, is to depart the company after 15 years to join Twitter.
MacMillan made the announcement through The Wall, explaining that was leaving to take up the role of editorial manager within Twitter UK’s sales and marketing team.
“As Twitter has grown, as it has threaded its way deeper into our working and social lives, it has become the most appealing aspect of the stories I’ve been writing,” explained MacMillan.
“Part of that is because for me personally Twitter answers a lot of the questions about social media and how brands engage more effectively than any other social platform – although of course they all have their role.”
At the time of writing it was not known who would take over MacMillan’s role at The Wall.
