Camelot has unveiled a new campaign with AMV BBDO to promote its National Lottery Scratchcards under the strapline ‘There’s no time like now’.

The campaign consists of two TV ads and an outdoor campaign, with the first of the TV ads to air from Sunday 21 April, and show the moment of a win.

The second ad will air in the summer.

Andy Duncan, managing director of Camelot UK Lotteries Limited, said: “This campaign really taps into the anticipation that comes with playing National Lottery Scratchcards – something that our players have told us they love. Focusing on the moment of play in an emotional way aims to remind our less frequent players that it’s not only about that chance to win big, but also that heart-stopping instant of excitement when nothing else matters.”

Media planning for the campaign was handled by Havas, with media buying via OMD.
