British Military Fitness (BMF) has announced the appointment of Manifest Communications to manage its press office and public relations activity for 2013.

The BMF appointed the agency to develop its profile across national, regional and local media and to support its membership growth plans.

Rob Love, BMF managing director, said: “At British Military Fitness, we are keen to promote the benefits of our fun and effective way of getting fit together in the great outdoors and how our classes have changed the lives of thousands of people across the UK. We believe that Manifest really understand and reflect that passion – as well as bringing an impressive level of sector experience to the task. We are confident that we will work well together to create a long and productive partnership.”

Nev Ridley, managing director at Manifest Communications, added: “We’re delighted that British Military Fitness has chosen us to deliver its PR activity and we already have a number of exciting campaigns in the pipeline. BMF is an established brand in a growing market and we are looking forward to helping increase their awareness and market share.”

The account will be handled from the Leeds office of Manifest.
