Action on Depression is looking to promote that this is National Depression Awareness Week by unveiling a campaign entitled ‘Never Judge a Book…’

The campaign was designed by John Hamlin, with guidance from Action on Depression over style and content, and will also form part on the new homepage for the website, which is set to be launched later this week.

The campaign looks to promote the fact ‘depression and low mood can affect anyone at any time, regardless of how you look’.

Action on Depression told The Drum that it is looking to lodge a parliamentary motion in support of the campaign, the main message of which is to urge people to challenge existing stereotypes around depression.
