Warburtons responds to social media by launching All Ends loaf

After an April Fools joke for an ‘All Ends’ loaf went down very well, Warburtons has responded to fan’s demands and created a limited edition version of the loaf.

The loaf comprises solely of the ‘crust ends’ of Warburtons Toastie, and generated hundreds of comments and over 1000 likes after a picture was posted on Facebook at the start of the month.

Mark Simester, marketing director at Warburtons, said: “We had no idea that our spoof loaf would receive such an enthusiastic response, so we’re pleased to have baked limited editions for our most discerning crust lovers on Facebook.

“We’re always looking for ways in which we can be innovative and meet our customers’ needs – it’ll be interesting to see what feedback we get on the actual All-Ends Loaf once our fans have had the opportunity to sample it.”

The campaign was created by WCRS, and the ‘All Ends’ loaf has now been sent out to the brand’s biggest Facebook fans.
