Creative play company RenArt has joined forces with 3Monkey to create the packaging design and content creation for its range of BopArt colour stamping kits.

BopArt aims to give a fresh contemporary spin to the traditional craft of potato prints with the collection ranging from starter kits at pocket money prices to deluxe design kits. The kits include foam pads that can be coloured again and again, along with special colouring pens, templates, paper and posters.

3Monkey not only worked on the ranges packaging design but also created the contents which include nine BopMen characters.

“BopArt was originally introduced in 2011 but had little industry interest, even though it’s a really engaging activity for kids. Our brief was to give the brand the shelf appeal it deserved,” commented 3Monkeys MD Paul Garner.

“In addition to the new packaging design, we created a new set of BopArt character stampers, giving them names to encourage kids to collect the family. A further challenge was to hit the right price point without compromising on the creativity. Working closely with Renart and their manufacturers we were able to create an exciting range of BopArt stamper kits.”
