Coffee brand Carte Noire has become the first advertiser to grace a newly launched window installation at Westfield Stratford City.

Devised by Work Club, the digital agency and AllofUs, a design consultancy, the display occupies a prominent spot in the mall’s central ‘street’ to immerse passers-by in a coffee drinking experience.

This is achieved courtesy of a five metre tall interactive screen relaying HD footage from the mall, complete with sensing technology to map CGI effects such as colour trails, weather and crystallising patterns onto this feed – shifting in response to the observers proximity to the display.

Ben Mooge, Creative Partner at Work Club said: "From the outset we were looking to create a unique experience to bring the intensity of Carte Noire Instinct into the most everyday of environments. Some of the technology hasn’t been used in this way before, and some of it is actual witchcraft, which brings its own challenges that we had fun solving."

The installation will run 24/7 from 12-18 April.
