A press campaign advert for Trotter’s Independent’s Condiments has focused on the use of long-copy to highlight the quality of the company's product.

Created by Newhaven, the advert will run across food press, aiming to promote the Fife-based company’s products to people “who appreciate and enjoy good food.”

Said Newhaven creative director Chris Watson of the campaign for Trotter’s Independent Condiments: “They create a quality product thatʼs made with real craft and care and we wanted to reflect that in the work. Last time we looked people are reading thousands of words everyday on the internet, so we decided it would be a great time to try and resurrect the dying art of copywriting. A jar of Trotterʼs tasted so good it felt like it justified 500 words.”

The campaign will run during May.
