To celebrate the opening of the new 5* Sensatori Resort Turkey in early summer tour operator Thomson has collaborated with world renowned millner Philip Treacy to create a range of limited edition sunhats and a bespoke hotel bar.

The designer and hat maker, who has worked with the likes of Kate Middleton and Lady Gaga, has created an exclusive range of women’s sunhats in six striking colours as well as a range of children’s hats in three colours that will be given to Sensatori Resort Turkey guests.

Fashion fans unable to visit the luxury resort will be able to purchase the range from selected Thomson superstores across the UK, with the proceeds going to Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Guests at the Sensatori Resort will also be able to relax in style during their stay at the hotel’s Butterfly Bar, designed by Treacy, which takes inspiration from one of his best-known creations; the infamous butterfly hat he designed for Naomi Campbell.

Of his work with Thomson, Treacy said: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to design a limited edition sunhat and bespoke bar at the new 5* Sensatori Resort Turkey. The reflection of the sun on the water creates a light where vibrant colours can truly stand on their own and be appreciated both individually and within the picturesque beauty of the Mediterranean landscape. I wanted my designs to express this vibrancy by combining the beauty with the care free holiday feeling to add a touch of glamour to the hotel poolside. I wanted the bar to be a place where guests can relax in luxurious surroundings and enjoy the holiday atmosphere.”

Thomson director, Chris Browne, added: “We hope this collaboration will make the holiday experience for guests at our new and exclusive Sensatori Resort Turkey even more special and that customers back in the UK will purchase these fabulous hats and raise money for a very deserving cause.”
