HTC has set a challenge to artists and designers to interpret the features of the new HTC One – HTC Zoe, HTC Boomsound and HTC Blinkfeed – through artwork as part of a competition that will see the winners’ work displayed across billboards in eight UK cities as well as a cash prize.

The eight winning designs will appear in London, Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester and Dublin, with each winner taking home £1,000 in cash and an HTC One smartphone.

HTC has asked artists to push the boundaries of what is possible when it comes to static media and they must incorporate one or all of the features of the new handset using one of the selected cites as the background to their creation.

As well as eight winners being picked by a panel of judges, one of the entrants voted the highest by the public will receive an HTC One handset as well.

The competition is open until Sunday 14 April at 6pm with voting live from 15 April and winners announced on Monday 22 April 2013.
