Gardening product supplier Hozelock has unveiled a new spring TV campaign, created by Cogent Elliott and Aardman Animations.

The ‘Your Garden Loves Hozelock’ campaign stars an animated worm, and promotes the brand’s new 4-in-1 Flexi Spray.

Simon Davies, group marketing director at Hozelock said: "We want to appeal to a younger audience who are looking for multi-purpose and innovative watering options to help fulfill their gardening needs, quickly and effectively. With this in mind we were looking for an advertising campaign which created a sense of fun along with illustrating the core features of the product.”

The TV campaign forms part an integrated digital, e-marketing, press and PR programme being delivered by Cogent Elliott.

Mike Phillipson, CEO at Cogent Elliott, said: “The campaign is a great team production between ourselves, Hozelock and Aardman Animations. It’s been fascinating to match our creative qualities with an organisation internationally recognised for its own creativity. The resulting campaign is one all parties should be very proud of, and will undoubtedly be a valuable component of the Hozelock Flexi Spray promotion.”

The campaign is set to run until the end of May.
