Wigan & Leigh College, Marcus Worthington Group and the ICare Group have all appointed Preston-based PR consultancy Freshfield to cover a range of projects.

Brief: Wigan & Leigh College is hoping to boost course applications

Wigan & Leigh College has taken the consultancy on to manage its media relations programme and boost the number of course applications in the 16-18 years age group, while the ICare Group aims to raise the profile of the Peace of Mind scheme, an initiative which provides hot meals and care visits to elderly residents in the north-west. The Marcus Worthington Group requires ongoing PR for its Worthington Properties and Hollinwood Homes brands, completing a hat trick of new clients for Freshfield.

Freshfield managing director, Simon Turner described the three company contracts as "great additions" to the agency's portfolio.

Freshfield employs 15 people and holds a Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) Consultancy Management Standard.
