A memorial service for Andy Carolan, founder of Navigator and former chairman of Tangible, will be held next month in Edinburgh.

Carolan, who died in November after being struck by a train, will be remembered at the service, which will take place on 1 May at St Cuthbert’s Parish Church on Lothian Road in Edinburgh.

Carolan, who began his career as product manager at Alloa Brewery prior to working for Evans Hunt Scott where he became managing director, launched Navigator Responsive Advertising, before leading a management buy-out as managing director from Faulds Group in 2001.

He went on to become chairman of the expanded Tangible Group following the agency’s acquisition by Cello Group in 2004.

Carolan is survived by his wife Sherrie and two sons, Mark and Conor.

A book on condolence was also set up to share stories of those who remembered Carolan with his family.

The service will begin at 3pm.
