The latest snapshot to be taken of advertising on file piracy websites has found that Propellerads have retained their position at the top of the charts.
Describing the market as ‘extremely fluid’ the USC March Piracy Report found that one third of the top ten advertising networks on illicit file sharing networks are comprised of newcomers.
Brand ads continue to appear on such sites, even if they don’t support them, despite efforts by ad networks such as Google, Quantcast and OpenX to ban them.
