Namco Bandai Games and Paramount have partnered with games media brand IGN to promote the launch of Star Trek The Video Game, with a hub set to launch in 12 territories.

The dedicated hub is packed with game information, video trailers and links to local retailers and a bespoke Star Trek themed browser game that transports readers to the planet of New Vulcan.

Ian Chambers, MD and VP, International, IGN Entertainment, said: “In partnership with Namco Bandai and Paramount, we have created an engaging Star Trek hub that enthusiasts will want to experience again and again.”

Lee Kirton, PR and marketing director at Namco Bandai Partners UK, said: “Star Trek the Video game is a completely unique experience set in this fantastic world created by Paramount Pictures. Working with IGN on a global level was a perfect fit for us and working closely we have been able to develop a compelling industry first campaign.”

The game is available in the UK from 26 April.
