Swedish cider brand Kopparberg has retained Manifest London to handle its PR and social media for the UK, following a competitive pitch process.

Following the appointment, the agency will be involved in a comprehensive PR campaign and social media management, as Kopparberg looks to evolve and extend its presence online.

Rob Calder, head of marketing at Kopparberg UK, commented: “We are very excited to have appointed Manifest as our UK PR and social media agency. Kopparberg is a young and energetic company with ambitious plans in the UK, and there is a great culture match with Manifest’s bold, creative and passionate approach to PR.

Appointing Manifest is part a bigger plan to evolve the marketing strategy for Kopparberg, taking it beyond the more niche and cultural focus it’s had over recent years.”

As part of the appointment, Manifest London will also support Kopparberg’s presence at several UK music festivals this summer.

Alex Myers, director at Manifest London, added: “Kopparberg is an incredibly ambitious and inventive brand, and we are delighted to have been selected as their PR and social media agency.

The UK drinks industry is undergoing a tectonic shift and Kopparberg is at the forefront of a category that is a driving force of innovation – we are very proud to be a part of it and we can’t wait to help shake things up.”

Manifest will begin its role on 1 April, including management of the brand’s Twitter and Facebook profiles.
