McCann Erickson New York plans to ramp up social offer with McCann Always On

McCann Erickson New York is set to expand its social media division by ten times in order to meet demand from brands to better use the sector’s platforms.

According to a report by the New York Times, McCann’s will rebrand McCann Social to McCann Always On, and will grow the division from three to over 30 staff, which will include hiring a creative strategist, a developer, a creative technologist a writer and a designer.

The global director of the division, Kandace Hudspeth (pictured), has also been named chief digital integration officer for McCann Erickson New York and global director of Always On.

The division is already working on briefs for General Mills, L’Oréal and Nestlé.
