Cloud computing company iomart Group, sponsor of this year’s The Online Media Awards, has revealed that it made a pre-tax profit of £10.6 million over the last year.

The group, which released a pre-close trading statement for its year end on 31 March, revealed that it had grown its pre-tax profit from £6.9 million recorded last year, while continuing to win a number of contracts over the year as adoption of cloud services accelerates.

The company’s adjusted EBITDA figure is also expected to be no less than £16.4 million for last year, growing from the previous figure of £11.2 million in 2012.

The company also cited the contribution of acquired company Melbourne, bought in August 2012, as well as the ‘improved performance’ of Easyspace, following the integration of companies Skymarket and HostingUK.

Angus MacSween, CEO of iomart Group, commented:"Iomart continues to benefit from a compelling mix of a growing market, recurring revenues, sticky customers, good forward visibility and a leading competitive position. As a result we remain very confident of further growth in the next financial year and beyond."

The full year results for the company will be released on 29 March.
