Goals Soccer Centres announced as sponsor of Asian Football Awards 2013
Goals Soccer Centres has announced that it will become the headline sponsor of the Asian Football Awards 2013 (AFA) and tournament host of the inaugural AFA Fives tournament.
Goals national marketing manager, Michael Gibb, said: “Football is now by far the most popular sport in terms of Asian interest and participation in the UK, and this sponsorship allows us to promote, encourage and celebrate Asian achievement in football. We are particularly pleased to be hosting the inaugural AFA Fives tournament, to help support and showcase the talent coming through at grassroots level within the Asian community.”
Regional tournaments will take place across 22 Goals Soccer Centres throughout the UK in May and June, with a finals day taking place at Goals Gillette Corner in west London at the end of August.
Other event partners and supporters include the FA, Kick It Out, Show Racism the Red Card and Sporting Equals.
