Newcastle United Foundation's hall of fame set to launch with brand creation from StarkHartleyAtkinson

The StarkHartleyAtkinson brand creation for Newcastle United Foundation's hall of fame is set to launch at a glitzy event at St James' Park stadium.

The Premier League club's charity foundation appointed the agency to create the brand for the hall of fame - which will include fans' favourite players, team and manager of all time - alongside a brochure and tickets for a celebratory dinner. The event will be hosted by Sky Sports' Jeff Stelling, where the results of the fans' votes will be revealed.

"As the hall of fame will provide the foundation with a powerful fundraising platform, it was important for us to create a brand identity that immediately engages both Newcastle United supporters and the wider football loving public who are aware of the club's history," said Nigel Hartley, managing director at StarkHartleyAtkinson. "The scale and profile of the launch will ensure that the hall of fame immediately becomes and important contributor to the foundation's work, and one that will continue to grow in stature."

Big club names will attend the launch dinner for the unveiling of the hall of fame, which StarkHartleyAtkinson created by working with the Newcastle United Foundation and identifying the charity's strategic objectives. The foundation is an independent charity supported by the club, which promotes healthy lifestyles for children and families in the north-east by encouraging a passion for football.

Fundraising manager at Newcastle United Foundation, Sarah Medcalf, added: "The team at StarkHartleyAtkinson have created a brand which captures the enduring spirit of Newcastle United and the iconic nature of those that will be inducted into the hall of fame. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and are looking forward to the brand being formally launched at the celebratory dinner."
