Marriott London Sevens has released a TV spot to promote the event created by Partners Andrews Aldridge.

The RFU event, which is sponsored by Marriott Hotels & Resorts, takes place on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May and is the culmination of the HSBC World Sevens Series. Known for its party atmosphere, many of the crowd wear fancy dress to the event, with this year’s theme being Safari.

The TV uses the theme comparing the intense training of an England Sevens player, with a fan preparing his fancy dress outfit. Running on Sky and ITV, the ad uses spilt screen technology and an 80s themed soundtrack as a throwback to sporting action films from that era.
