Trinity Mirror has launched the National Advertising Sales Agency (NASa), which will represent its regional, national and digital newspaper brands, in a structure it says will provide unrivalled multimedia advertising solutions for customers.

Combining national, regional and digital sales teams for the first time, NASa will allow the group to create cross media solutions of scale across its news brands and is expected to be in place by the beginning of April.

"Our unified structure will allow us to exploit the full potential of our audience reach while also delivering innovative creative solutions for customers across our entire portfolio of news brands – in print, online, on mobile and on tablet," said managing director, David Emin, who will lead the unit. "Furthermore, as a unified sales operation our reach in terms of print audiences puts us as the clear number one in the UK."

NASa will provide a team delivering bespoke services to independent publishers as well as national sales and innovations divisions. Members of the senior management team include: Gary McNish, regional managing director; Andy Whelan, advertising director; Shaun Jordan, digital sales director; Mark Field, business development director; and, Yvon Nolle, head of client sales.
