Paddy Power has offered race-goers at this year’s Cheltenham Festival the best seats in the house, located above the racecourse in a giant pair of flying Paddy Power pants floating over the famous racecourse.

The unique and unmissable light aircraft stands at 63 ft. high and 60 ft. wide. It was created from over 3,600 sq ft. of material, holding 115,000 cubic feet of air and boasting a belt-busting waistband of 2,260 inches and took a team of top engineers and skilled seamstresses six months to make flight-worthy.

“We couldn’t resist inviting punters to get into our pants at Cheltenham this year – so we needed a pair of epic proportions! Our flying y-fronts provide an unrivalled view of the action for punters, as well as hopefully giving anyone in the grandstand a sight to remember and a bit of Irish luck,” commented a Paddy Power spokesperson.

As well as the Cheltenham festival further special appearances and flights are planned at major sporting events throughout the year. Opportunities to win ‘the best seats in the house’ are available through Paddy Power’s Facebook page and Twitter account (@PaddyPower).
