The Orkney Tourism Group is seeking an agency to design and produce its Orkney Visitor Guide.

The Islands' tourist board is inviting agencies to tender for the editorial, design and print of the full-colour A4 brochure, which it says forms a key part of its marketing strategy.

The winning agency's task will include design, copywriting, photography and typesetting. The tender also includes the production of a live-linked online version of the brochure.

The visual brief is to create a brochure that will "excite prospective visitors with a stunning cover that leaps out of a magazine rack, continuing throughout with engaging shots of famous Orkney places and inviting scenic landscapes".

Orkney Tourism Group has not disclosed the budget for the task, but the contract will last three years with the option of a further year extension.

The tender deadline is 5pm on 15 April and submissions must be emailed to samantha.berston@btinternet.com.
