Kopparberg appoints 18 Feet & Rising for advertising

Kopparberg has announced the appointment of 18 Feet & Rising to handle the fruit cider brand’s advertising account.

Following the pitch, 18 Feet & Rising will be added to the roster of agencies which includes RKCR/Y&R and More.

Rob Calder, head of marketing at Kopparberg, said: “We are delighted to have 18 Feet & Rising as part of the team and we are looking forward to them challenging us with big ideas. Kopparberg is a young energetic business with an ambitious brand and we want to create advertising which matches that energy and ambition.”

18 Feet & Rising has been briefed to develop breakthrough advertising

Rob Ward, head of strategy at 18 Feet & Rising, said: “Whilst the alcoholic drinks sector continues to struggle, cider, and fruit cider in particular, is bucking the trend. Kopparberg is leading this charge and our job now is to deliver category-defining creative work.”

The brand has said it will spend £4m on advertising this year.
