WCRS wins £5 million Westons Cider account
Westons Cider has selected WCRS as its new creative agency as part of a £5 million investment to support its range of ciders.
WCRS won the account following a competitive pitch against Enter, Fallon and Havas Worldwide London. The multi-million account includes the launch of a new TV campaign set to run this summer.
Of the pitch process head of marketing for Westons Cider, Ian Lewis, said: “We saw four outstanding pitches, but WCRS had the edge with some outstanding strategic thinking and a truly original creative platform.”
Matt Edwards, WCRS chief executive, added: “Westons Cider has a great story to tell in a fast-growing sector and we’re delighted to be working with them.”
