The Recommended Agency Register (RAR) has announced the finalists for the 2013 RAR Awards, with Elmwood, dotAgency, The Specialist Works, Wax Communications and RPM amongst those on the shortlists.

The nomination stage of the awards, which celebrates the highest-rated agencies, saw over 2,500 clients rate their agencies.

There are two strands of awards: discipline, which splits the agencies by their sector; and service level awards, which are based on how highly clients rated for effectiveness, client service, creativity, on-time performance, on-budget performance and strategic thinking ability.

Diane Young, director of RAR and organiser of the awards, said: “Hundreds of agencies have vied to get onto the finalist lists this year and thousands of clients have taken time to leave their feedback in the run up to the awards. Since the deadline we have pored over the scores and comments made by clients and we’ve seen amazing feedback for the agencies that have made the finalist lists. We’re looking forward to announcing the winning agencies next month.”

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on 18 April.
