Range Rover invites armchair drivers on an ‘ultimate test drive’ via new microsite

A Range Rover microsite, allowing customers to browse vehicles digitally, has been launched by Land Rover.

Created by WPP agency Blast Radius the site incorporates the ‘ultimate test drive’ by following an SUV down the winding roads of a virtual Lake Como.

Taking the form of an interactive movie this allows viewers to navigate the impressive route whilst getting acclimatised to their vehicles features through live ‘hotspots’ embedded in the film.

These bring up a series of testimonies from the designers and engineers behind the vehicle, explaining the thinking behind a series of features including an all-aluminium body.

allnewrangerover.landrover.com will be launched on 19 February 2013.
