Evening Express unveils AR campaign with AVC Media

The Evening Express has teamed with AVC media in order to launch an augmented reality (AR) campaign.

Part of the newspaper’s #wheredoyoudoit campaign, the Evening Express’ in-paper adverts aim to engage readers and let them access content including images, animations and videos.

Group marketing manager, Kirsty Matthews, said: “This is a first for us and we decided to trial AR to enhance our current advertising campaign and encourage interaction with our readers.

“As well as interacting with our existing print readers in a slightly different way, we hope to attract new readers via our social media channels and digital presence.”
