A raft of celebrities; including One Direction, Sarah Millican Caroline Flack, Olly Murs and Matt Cardle have modelled a series of limited edition eye masks for Red Nose Day.

The limited edition headgear comes replete with specially penned messages from each of the stars and will be handed out to British Airways travellers departing from Heathrow Terminal Five on the big day.

The Airline is sponsoring this year’s event through its Flying Start programme

Amongst the range on offer is One Direction’s comical effort which states ‘Something’s wrong with these sunglasses’, whilst Sarah Millican opts for the more personable ‘Nanight, pet’.

Olly Murs and Caroline Flack meanwhile go for ‘Dreaming of a Troublemaker’ and ‘Daydreamer’ whilst Matt Cardle offers ‘I’m not asleep’.

Mary Barry, British Airways’ community manager, said: “In keeping with the theme of Red Nose Day, we wanted to Do Something Funny For Money, and hopefully these eye masks will raise a smile from our customers and cabin crew when they are worn in flight.”

Ground based sleep fans can also bid for a pair by competing on British Airways Twitter page, @British_Airways.
