Michael Comish, CEO Blinkbox, has published an open letter to Netflix’sTed Sarando, blasting the claims that Netflix is the exclusive online home of The Hunger Games in the UK.

Comish kicked off the sarcastic letter, published on Twitter, with a quote from the Netflix’s press release. It reads: "Hey Ted,

"We read in your press release today that you are 'thrilled' that Netflix is now the 'exclusive online home' for The Hunger Games in the UK and Ireland.

"Actually, our customers in the UK (on planet Earth) have been able to enjoy The Hunger Games since 3rd September 2012 and continue to do so. All without the need for a subscription. Now that's thrilling."

He finished off the letter by adding: "Here are some other thrilling things that have happened here on Earth since The Hunger Games went live on blinkbox:

• Obama was re-elected!

• We all survived the Apocalypse!

• Prince William and Kate Middleton announced they are having a baby!

• A new dance sensation called 'Gangnam Style' swept the globe!

• The Pope resigned!

"What a busy 6 months…

"All the best,

"Michael Comish, CEO, blinkbox."
