Ofcom awards Preston local TV license to YourTV
Ofcom has awarded YourTV Blackpool and Preston with the license to run a local TV service in the area on digital terrestrial TV, the last such license in the first phase of a sector shake-up.
The license will run for a period of 12 months with an expectation that the first broadcasts will be made prior to the end of 2013 across satellite, cable and online channels in addition to digital terrestrial TV.
