Bay TV awarded local TV licence by Ofcom
Ofcom has awarded the Local TV service licence in Liverpool to Bay TV.
The 12-year licence award will see the creation of Bay TV Liverpool, which is expected to cover around 890,000 homes across the city.
Five applications were received in a bid to win the licence, the 18th to be awarded by Ofcom, with one more still to come.
The other applications came from Made Television with Made in Liverpool, Metro8 with Metro 8 Liverpool, Our TV and YourTV Liverpool.
