Studio MB has announced three new account wins for the start of 2013, including National Maritime Museum, York Army Museum and National Media Museum

The design agency, which specialises in interpretative and exhibition design, was appointed by the National Maritime Museum in London to create an exhibition, which will run from June – November 2014, telling the story of the quest to solve longitudinal navigation in the 18th and 19th centuries.

The exhibition will firstly open in the National Maritime Museum’s Sammy Ofer Wing in London with Studio MB’s design displaying nearly 300 artifacts to help visitors imagine being at sea.

The budget has not been fully defined fully for the project however the fee agreed for Studio MB's services is £57,000.

Studio MB has simultaneously been tasked with the design and implementation of a £950,000 refurbishment for the York Army Museum. The project will firstly involve the HLF round two bid before progressing through all design stages to onsite completion. The museum is due to reopen in July 2014.

Finally, the National Media Museum in Bradford, in conjunction with Seven Stories in Newcastle, has asked Studio MB to create a temporary exhibition that will appear in both locations. The exhibition, entitled 'Moving Stories', will be centred on children's books and is due to open in both locations from July 2013.
