Brand communications agency Clearsilver has appointed designer Mark Lucas as its new creative director.

The Leeds-based agency hopes the appointment of Lucas will help strengthen the company’s design and digital services.

Lucas brings over 10 years of experience in bespoke design for branding, web and print to the role, having previously worked across a variety of sectors with both large and small brands nationally and internationally, including clients such as Hallmark Cards, Land Rover, Leeds Rhinos and Mission Foods.

At Clearsilver, Lucas has been tasked with leading the design department and working on a diverse selection of client print, web and digital projects.

Managing director, Ian Leach said of the appointment: “Mark has come on board at a really exciting time for the agency as we continue to grow our design and digital offering. His skill set is a perfect match for us now and most importantly for the strategic direction the business is moving in.

“His years of experience in branding, print and digital will enable us to continue to deliver clients first class design, and will allow us to further develop relationships within new sectors.”

Mark Lucas said: “I am thrilled to have joined the Clearsilver team at this time of real growth and I am looking forward to getting involved with some fantastic projects and leading Clearsilver’s creative arm as the company continues to grow.”
